Sometimes you meet the most incredible people! I’m a believer in “we meet those who we are destined to meet.” What this means to me is that everyone you meet has the potential to become a part of your life, if you allow it. This man is a 6th generation New Mexico rancher. He KNOWS New Mexico unlike anyone I’ve met. I expressed my deep desire to explore, see and eat my way through NM this year and he offered up some of the experiences he thought I should pursue. His advice was, while it’s ok to be a tourist in my state because NM has so much to offer tourists, it’s even better to just explore and see the things that most people (even those of us who live here) never see. He gave me insight into many new experiences that I now can’t wait to embark upon. He gave me places to go to get the best green chile cheeseburgers in the state, best enchiladas in the state, and many other food options like eating pie in Pie Town… Excuse me, there’s a Pie Town? Sign me up! He also gave me scenic driving experiences that offer some of the most gorgeous views this state has to offer. And he offered to be a tour guide on a few of the off-the-beaten path trips he suggested.Watch movie online The Lego Batman Movie (2017)
Originally, I was hoping to get out of the city once a month. Now, that my list has grown exponentially I may be trying to fit in almost weekly trips somewhere.
At least one of these trips will likely include horse back riding to get to the destination sight. I am terrified of horses. BUT…this is the year that I will face my fears head on. So, bring on the horse rides so I can gain unforgettable memories and once in a lifetime experiences!
