I am an adventurer. I love a good thrill. I have been skydiving, cliff jumping, bridge jumping, snowboarding, scuba diving...anything that causes my stomach to turn brings the biggest smile to my face. I am an adventurer.
I feel like solo female travel is not highly looked upon here in my country (the USA). And I've been one of the many who has rejected it. But not anymore. As a single girl, in her mid thirties, I've realized if I don't see the world and do the things that I want to do by myself, I may never get the opportunity to do them. So I am going to do them alone! I am going to embrace my fears and just go for it!
How often do we say "no?" I feel like I end up saying no more often than I'd like too. I've decided that I am going to be the "yes" girl. Do you want to go skydiving? YES. Do you want to eat this crazy food that you have no idea what it's made of? YES. Will you climb an iceberg? YES. Saying yes appears to be more exciting than saying no. I am going to be the "yes" girl. I'm excited to see what weird, crazy, scary, funny and awkward adventures saying "yes" gets me into.
I am also just a girl who is doing her best to get through life. I have a job. I have a dog. I have (some) responsibilities. But that doesn't mean I can't venture out and experience the world. Even if, right now, majority of my world consists of experiencing New Mexico. There is a LOT to see and do here in my world and I have plans to see it all!
Finally, a few things about me...I love coffee, I love shoes, I do yoga, I want to be on the Amazing Race, I like to sing and I'm a huge foodie. Seeing the world and eating my way through it...I can't think of anything that sounds better!
